Aftercare

After yourwrinkle relaxer.

Results arrive slowly and settle over about two weeks. These few simple steps give them the best start.

01

The first 24 hours

  • Stay upright for at least 4 hours. Do not lie flat.
  • Do not rub, massage, or press on the treated areas. This can move the product.
  • Gently using the muscles in the first hour (raising your brows, frowning, smiling) is fine, and can help.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot yoga, and steam rooms. Keep your heart rate low.
  • Skip heavy alcohol, which can increase bruising.
  • Sleep on your back tonight if you can, not face down into the pillow.

02

The first two weeks

  • No facials, microdermabrasion, facial massage, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks.
  • Results begin to show in about 3 to 5 days, with the full effect at 10 to 14 days.
  • If a touch-up may help, it is assessed at about two weeks, not before. The product needs that time to settle.
  • Results typically last 3 to 4 months.

03

What is normal

  • Mild redness, small bumps, or a pinprick feeling at the injection sites for a few hours.
  • A small bruise that fades over several days.
  • A mild headache in the first day or two.
  • Movement softening gradually rather than all at once.

04

When to call the studio

  • Unevenness that is still there after day 14.
  • Drooping of an eyelid or eyebrow. This is rare and usually resolves, but we want to know.
  • Any new symptom, or anything that feels outside of normal to you.
