Aftercare

After yourIV or NAD+ infusion.

A quiet rest of the day is the best aftercare. Here is what to expect.

01

The first 24 hours

  • Keep the cotton or bandage on your IV site for at least 15 minutes.
  • Keep drinking water through the day.
  • Eat a light, protein-forward meal within an hour or two.
  • No alcohol tonight, and go easy on caffeine.
  • Gentle movement only. Save a hard workout for tomorrow.
  • Take your usual medications, unless you were told otherwise.

02

The days after

  • A small bruise at the IV site is normal and fades over a few days.
  • Keep the site clean and dry, and watch it for any spreading redness.
  • After NAD+, some people feel tired that evening and more energetic the next day. Both are normal.
  • Talk with your clinician about how often a visit makes sense for you.

03

What is normal

  • A warm flush or brief rush right after the infusion ends, fading within 10 to 30 minutes.
  • A metallic taste during the infusion and shortly after.
  • Needing to urinate more for a few hours.
  • Mild tenderness at the IV site.

04

When to call the studio

  • Spreading redness, warmth, or pus at the IV site (a possible infection, which is rare).
  • Pain at the IV site that is more than mild tenderness.
  • Nausea or headache that lasts more than a few hours.
